Orion Stars Agent Holding Percentage Explained

Holding is one of the most asked-about and least explained terms in Orion Stars selling. Here it is in plain language.

What holding means

Holding describes the share of play value an agent keeps under their arrangement with the seat above them. It is the agent's side of the deal, agreed between the seller and their supplier. It is separate from the price you pay for points.

Holding versus the promo rate

The promo rate, currently 14% with a 5,000-point minimum, is about buying points from us. Holding is about the arrangement between levels in the tree. Mixing the two up is the most common misunderstanding we hear.

Typical ranges

Arrangements vary by seat and volume. For our Orion Stars agent seats, we confirm the figure in chat before you pay. Never assume a number you saw elsewhere applies to you.

Questions to ask before you agree

  • What exact percentage applies to my seat?
  • When and how is it settled?
  • Does it change with volume?
  • Is it written down somewhere I can refer back to?

Keep it in writing

Save the chat message where the percentage is confirmed. If you run sub-agents, give them the same clarity about their own arrangement.

Common questions

Is holding the same as the Orion Stars promo rate?

No. The promo is the price of points; holding is the agent arrangement.

What holding do Orion Stars agents get from you?

We agree the exact figure for your seat in chat, before any payment.

Can holding change later?

It can be renegotiated as your volume changes; keep every agreement in writing.
