Orion Stars Staff Logins and Security

Most problems with Orion Stars seats are not hacks. They are shared passwords and forgotten logins.

One person, one login

When three people share one Orion Stars password, the history cannot tell you who did what. Ask for a login per person. It costs nothing and makes every line in the log traceable.

Strong passwords, stored properly

Use a long password that is not used anywhere else and keep it in a password manager. Never write it in the same chat you use with players.

Shared devices

• Sign out at the end of every shift.
• Do not let the browser save the password on a counter device.
• Lock the device screen when you step away.

When someone leaves

Disable their login the same day, or ask the seat above you to do it. Then review the last week of their activity in the history.

Watching for trouble

Unusual hours, unfamiliar usernames or loads without payments are signs to look closer. If you think a password has leaked, change it first and investigate second. Message us with the username, never the password, if you need a seat locked.
