Reading the Orion Stars Transaction Log

The history screen is the most useful and least used part of the Orion Stars panel. Five minutes a day with it prevents most disputes.

What each line shows

Every line in the Orion Stars log records one movement of credits: who did it, which account received or gave the credits, the amount, the balance afterwards and the time. Loads move credits from you to a player; redeems move them back.

Filtering

Use the date range to look at a single shift or day, and search by username when a player questions a figure. Masters and sub-distributors can also pick a seller to see only their movements.

Spotting problems

• A load with no matching payment in your sheet.
• Two identical loads seconds apart, often a double tap.
• A redeem that was never paid out.
• Activity at hours when nobody should be working.

A five-minute daily check

1. Filter to today.
2. Compare the total loads and redeems with your sheet.
3. Investigate any line that does not match before you close.

Fixing a mistake

If you loaded the wrong player, redeem it back and load the right one, then note both lines in your sheet so the log tells the whole story. Staff-level checks are covered on staff logins and security.
