Orion Stars Agent in Jamaica

Jamaican agents often serve players at home and in the diaspora in the US, Canada and the UK. That mix shapes the hours and the habits of the seat.

Time zones in your group

Jamaican clocks never change. From November to March they show the same time as New York; from March to November, New York runs one hour ahead of Kingston. Toronto follows New York, and London is five or six hours ahead, so UK players may write while you are still at work.

Word of mouth

Most Jamaican agents grow through people they know: family, church friends, workmates and their cousins abroad. That is a strength, because referred players are more reliable. Thank people who refer, and keep the same rules for everyone so nobody feels favoured.

Payday rhythm

Many workers are paid fortnightly or monthly. The weekend after payday is usually the busiest, and the days before are quiet. Top up before payday weekends, not during them.

First steps

• Ask us for an empty agent login and practise creating a test player.
• Ask what today's rate is and which ways you can pay from Jamaica.
• Write your house rules before you add your first player.
• Keep a notebook of every load and cash-out from day one.

Serving players abroad

Players in the US or UK may expect replies during their evening, which may be your afternoon or late night. Say plainly when you are available so nobody waits in silence.
