Orion Stars Player Onboarding Script

The first ten minutes with a new player decide whether they come back. A short script means every newcomer gets the same clear start.

Message one: welcome

“Hi, welcome. I will set up your Orion Stars account now. Which name would you like as your username?” Keep it short and friendly. Ask one question at a time.

Message two: login

Send the username and password together with the player link or app link, and a one-line note: “Change your password after your first login.” Do not send passwords in a public group.

Message three: first load

Explain how to pay you, the minimum load and what happens next: “Once I see your payment, I load your credits and message you.” Then do exactly that.

Message four: house rules

Share three or four rules only: load hours, cash-out hours, minimum cash-out and how to reach you. A long wall of rules is never read.

Message five: cash-out

Tell them now, before they win, how a cash-out works. Players who know the process in advance do not panic later.

Follow-up the next day

A simple “all working fine?” the next day catches install problems early and shows the player you are paying attention.

Adapting the script

Translate it for players who prefer another language and keep the same order. Consistency matters more than perfect wording.

Common first-day snags

The two problems new players hit most are a mistyped password and an app installed from the wrong place. Ask them to copy the password straight from your message rather than retyping it, and to use only the link you sent. Those two lines alone prevent most first-day calls.

Pair this with the house rules template and the create player account guide.
