Orion Stars Table Games Guide

Most attention goes to fish rooms and slots, but the Orion Stars lobby also carries a small set of table games. Some of your players will prefer them.

A small but steady corner

Out of roughly seventy titles, about six are table-style games. That is a small share, but the players who like them tend to be loyal. They play at a calmer pace and often stay longer per session than slot players.

Who asks for them

Older players and people who enjoy card or dice games in real life are the usual fans. If someone in your group finds fish shooting too frantic, point them to the tables.

Learn them yourself

Open each table game on your practice player. Note the minimum and maximum bets and how a round works. When players ask, you can answer from experience instead of guessing.

How they affect your balance

Table players usually load in steadier amounts. They are less likely to swing your balance up and down in a single night than a fish table group chasing a boss.

Introducing them

• Mention them in your welcome message alongside slots and fish.
• Suggest them to players who say they are bored with reels.
• Ask regulars which ones they enjoy and pass that on.

Keeping it honest

Do not describe any table game as easier to win. Describe how it plays, and leave it there.

Mixing tables into promotions

If you run small promotions for regulars, consider one aimed at table players now and then. It shows the quieter part of your group that you notice them too.
